- Our Boat - A 31'
Tiara
The "Fish Hunter" is a fully
equipped 31' Tiara
with all the latest fishing and safety equipment.
With a fully enclosed fly bridge and cabin there is plenty of room for comfort.
She has twin 454 engines which can get you to and from the fish quickly and safely.
We typically run a 8-16 rod set up depending on the water conditions and where the
fish are located. There are a number of different ways to catch fish, we use
down riggers, dipsey divers, lead lines, wire lines, and high lines. The fish could
range in depth from right on the surface to over 100 feet down. With all latest
technology Captain Dave is able to find the fish and target them with a variety of
ways.
About the Captain
Captain Dave James is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard, and has been
taught and brought up by some of the greatest fishermen on Lake Michigan. Captain
Dave is well known for his professionalism and knowledge for catching great lakes
fish. He strives to make every trip a memory that will last a lifetime.
Rate Information
- A $100 deposit is required to reserve your date. Extra boats are available
for parties larger than six.
- It is the Captain's decision on whether or not to fish depending on the seas;
if there are no future dates available, than your deposit will be returned.
- There are two trips available: 5 or 8 hours.
- 1-4 person(s) — $480
- 5 person — $550
- 6 person — $600
- An 8 hour, 6-person trip — $700

to Bring on Your Fishing Adventure
Be sure to get your license here, online before your trip.
Remember that Michigan weather can change at any moment, and it's best
to come prepared. It will always be cool first thing in the morning and again
in the evening.
- Both warm and cold weather clothes

- A valid Michigan fishing license required over the age of 17
- Any food or beverage of your choice
- A cooler for your cleaned and packaged catch at no extra charge
